New Addition!

Hello Loves!!

I'm super Super SUPER excited to announce the soon arrival of my baby niece Camila Saucedo!! I can't wait to meet her on January 13, 2010! How exciting right?! I'm so happy for my Sister Jacky and her Husband Hector (Quest One, Urban Ops) on their first little bundle of joy! I'm sure their world is about to be flipped up-side-down! I cant even begin to imagine the magnitude of the change Baby Mila (my nickname to her) will bring in all of our lives as the FIRST daughter, niece, grand daughter, and great grand daughter in our family. This little girl is going to rock all of our worlds! I cant wait to play with her, and help her grow up...I love my sister so much. She is a huge inspiration in my life, and one of the strongest people i know. She survived Thyroid cancer in '09 and now is ready to take the rest of her life by the horns. I'm so excited to be sharing this wonderful experience with her. She is going to make one AMAZING mama. Lights, Camera, Action! run Leo!!! run!!!

60.4 million opening weekend is quite impressive! It may not break any Twilight records, but still significantly better than a lot of crappy movies this year. Steven and I went to see "Inception" this last weekend ; all I have to say is...The older Leonardo DiCaprio gets, the better the acting. Bravo Leo, Bravo. The movie was great, I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! Its really a thrilling watch. Ellen Page (from Juno) did a fantastic job as well. I'm glad to see her targeting more serious roles. If you're over sparkly vamps, scrumptious ware wolves and have nothing to do this weekend, I suggest you gather your pennies and go watch Inception. I think I smell an Oscar nomination for my dear DiCaprio. Have you seen Inception yet?! xoxo k.d.

Yaaaaaaaayyyy!!! My favorite project time!! I loooove singing in the booth. Its absolutely one of my favorite things to do! I always feel such a rush when I'm in the booth all alone. It feels like I'm skydiving...minus the airplane and the parachute. These last few sessions have been so fun to do. I go in, put the headphones on, test the mic and take a quick sip of water before belting a new lyric. Ugghhh i wish you guys could all be there to experience it for yourselves! Its always so liberating; and it gets better every time i go back in. Lets remember this: the place where you find yourself being the happiest, that's where your meant to be! i cant wait to show you guys all the new music...I'll be uploading something soon...no worries! MusiK to My Ears

I'm super super super excited to FINALLY announce the birth of a new and much improved project (i don't like calling it album but whatever!). Iv been writing and putting music together for a very long time, and now the time has come for me to share it with everyone else. I'm so beyond exhilarated (5 fist pums) to be able to share whats been on my heart for the past few years. After many months of seeking the Lord, and asking what he wanted me to do, He led me to see that the work he began 4 years ago is not yet finished. Passion was such an awesome experience for me and I'm so thankful that I was able to soak up as much information as i could. The Lord gave me the insight I needed to be able to man an entire project on my own. He taught me the good, the bad, and the ugly. I learned the importance of being 100% behind the music i sang and created, understanding that somewhere, somehow, it could reach someone who needed to hear it, to fall at the feet of Jesus. My intention for this new project is to Jesus in prospective to everyone in every walk of life. Behind every song there is a story, and behind every story there is a beginning, and those beginnings are the recent chapters of my life. Unread and unknown to the world...until now. Now that i am on my own (musically), be READY to experience new sounds, new prospectives, and new songs you will want to hear over and over. Stay tuned for upcoming samples!!!
